A. Theory’s ” Sequence+Time ” is an instrumental album produced and sequenced by Alex Praeger & Aaron Horn with additional performances by other musicians including ‘F.Lunaire’. It was recorded, sequenced & mixed at Sarm Studios.
Aaron and Alex met at art school aged 17. Sharing an interest in eclectic electronica, they began collaborating, writing & producing together. Pianist & songrwriter F.Lunaire joined the mix, and the three of them would compose on piano & software through a process of playing, sampling, editing & multitracking. String Theory was born.
Aaron & Alex have spent the past two years moonlighting, composing and recording music in studios 1, 2 & 3 at Sarm, sampling their own original recordings to create a unique composition. Influences span from The Beatles, Kate Bush, 60’s Psychedelia, DJ Shadow, Prefuse 73, Bonobo, DJ food and Portishead, to sounds and textures from movie & computer game soundtracks, all of which have inspired String Theory’s tone and narrative structure, resulting in a distinctive sound. A.Theory Have licensed music to Channel Four and pending licencing for an extreme sports DVD.
